Is the free email checker actually free?
Yes. You can verify 4 emails per day from this page without an account. No card, no signup.

What does the checker actually look at?
Nine checks run in parallel on every address: syntax and format validation (RFC 5321 and 5322), domain existence and MX presence, an SMTP handshake and mailbox-exists ping, a disposable-domain match, role-address detection, catch-all detection, and an AI-confidence pass on the catch-all hits. Only an address that clears the whole stack comes back valid.
The catch-all resolution is the check most free email validators quietly skip, and it is exactly where 20 to 40 % of B2B email lists fail. That layer, running on the same paid engine, is what keeps the free verdict honest.
How accurate is the free version?

Do you store the emails I check?
Addresses you check are used only to run the verification and show you the result. We never sell them.

Can I check a list of emails for free?
Yes. The free tier gives you 1,000 verifications (2,500 if you sign up with a work email), and that covers most small lists outright.
For larger lists, our paid credit packs are pay-as-you-go and never expire, with volume discounts on the pricing page. CSV upload, API access, and bulk parallel processing are included from the free tier up.
What happens when I hit the daily limit?
Either wait 24 hours, or create a free account to claim 1,000 verifications once you verify your email (2,500 if your signup email is a work address). No card required for the signup tier either.

How fast is the API and what's the SLA?
Speed depends on the receiving mail server, because every check waits for its real answer.

What's your refund policy?
An unused credit pack is refundable in full within 7 days of purchase. Once you spend any credits from a pack it is non-refundable, but whatever is left stays on your account permanently, because credits never expire.
