1. Our Trademarks
The following trademarks and service marks are owned by Verifox, Inc. and are protected under US and international trademark law:
- VERIFOX — word mark (Class 42, software as a service)
- Verifox logo — stylised fox icon with the Verifox wordmark
- FOXGUARD — word mark (Class 42, fraud detection software)
- verifox.ai — trade name and domain
Verifox, Inc. is the parent company and ultimate owner of all Verifox intellectual property. Verifox, Inc. is the ultimate owner of all Verifox intellectual property.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use the Verifox name in the following ways without prior written permission:
- Nominative reference: Referring to Verifox by name when describing our product in a factually accurate, non-misleading way (e.g., "we integrated with Verifox for email verification")
- Review and commentary: Using the Verifox name in reviews, blog posts, news articles, and editorial commentary
- Partner badges: If you are an authorised integration partner or reseller, using the official "Verified Verifox Partner" badge as provided to you in the partner portal
- Social media: Tagging @verifox in posts about our product, provided the content is accurate and not misleading
When using our name or logos in permitted ways, you must: (a) use only official, unmodified assets from our brand kit; (b) not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation beyond what is accurate; (c) include a trademark attribution where appropriate (e.g., "Verifox is a trademark of Verifox, Inc.").
3. Prohibited Uses
The following uses are not permitted without prior written approval from support@verifox.ai:
- Using "Verifox," "FoxGuard," or any confusingly similar name as part of your company name, product name, or domain
- Modifying the Verifox logo, changing its colours, distorting its proportions, or creating derivative logo designs
- Using the Verifox name or logo in a way that implies Verifox endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with your business when it does not
- Using the Verifox name in a way that is defamatory, deceptive, or likely to mislead consumers
- Using the Verifox name in connection with spam, phishing, fraud, or any illegal activity
- White-labelling or reselling the Verifox platform without an authorised reseller agreement
4. Requesting Permission
For uses not covered by the permitted uses above, you must request prior written permission from support@verifox.ai. Please include:
- A description of the intended use and the context in which you plan to use the trademark
- A mockup or example of how the trademark will appear
- Your company name, website, and contact information
We aim to respond to trademark permission requests within 10 business days.
5. Reporting Infringement
If you believe someone is using the Verifox name or logo in an infringing or unauthorised manner, please report it to support@verifox.ai with as much detail as possible, including the infringing URL, a description of the issue, and your contact information. We take trademark infringement seriously and will investigate all reports.
